Week 4-Dripping Springs Baptist Church, FBC Thurmont, Epworth UMC, Blue Ridge Community College, South Oaks Baptist Church, Grace Baptist Church, FBC Gleason & Broadriver Baptist Association

Rosamond
Kickin' it this week at Rosamond was a team from the Broad River Baptist Association. All the way from South Carolina, with spirits of intentionality and generosity, Broad River provided for this community in a Christ-like manner through catering to people's physical and spiritual needs. Not a day went by that someone did not ask what need they could help fill. It was an honor to watch team members love on not only our kids at Rosamond but passer-byes as well as they handed out Gatorade with unwavering smiles. Rotations between stations ran smoothly, and overall the week was a huge success. Our youngest kids so enjoyed learning Bible stories with the assistance of puppets, and water day was a sweet treat for each of the age groups. They even surprised the kids with backpacks full of snacks and school supplies before saying their see-you-laters for this summer. Each missionary was an individual house, through which the light of Christ shone, and it was a privilege to serve alongside them. Thank you Broad River for having such servant hearts as you loved on the Rosamond kids this week.

National
This week at National we were honored to have a group from Broad River. The team came in with hearts on fire for Jesus, and they poured out his love to every child who came to bible club. The energy that the team had was contagious, and the kids fed off of their energy. Everyday I heard the kids singing as loud as they could in the songs stations, even the older kids who usually don't want to sing! It was awesome! Bible story was especially on point this week. The kids were able to tell me the memory verses that they learned each day. These kids are learning the gospel and have the ability to bring it out and share it with their families and community. It was a blessing for Kailyn and I to serve alongside this awesome team this week. You guys rocked it at National! Thank you Broad River for showing complete authentic love to the National kids. Please continue to pray as we move into the second half of the summer. We just know that God is going to do some big things!

Kippley
Good morning Mr. and Mrs. America and all the ships at sea. Let's go to press. This week at bible club has been one big party. The team from Blue Ridge Community College had these kids jamming out like nobody's business to "Father Abraham" and "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands." They even got to play HUMAN BATTLESHIP!!! One of my personal favorite moments was the most epic sword fight I ever had. Four year old Amin tossed me a pool noodle and said "on guard" though it sounded more like "ondar." The next two minutes were filled with classic light-saber sound effects, flips and spins, and two warriors clashing swords to a stale mate. Learning that he was no match for myself, the Giant, he ran around to my back side and grabbed at my hip. He began running away shouting, "I got the key! I got the key!" I obviously couldn't let him keep the key, so I pursued him. However, we continued to match swords and skill. He finally shouted, "I'ma get the door!" as he darted towards our neighboring house. I intercepted him and kept him at bay. Finally, I slammed my sword into the ground and exclaimed, "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" My opponent let loose a fierce battle cry as he threw his steel to the ground and charged me head on. It was like David verses Goliath. Yet somehow, I, the giant, became over powered and fell to the ground. The great warrior Amin scaled my fallen body and dealt the finishing blow to my face with his bare hands. Leaping off of me, he dashed to the house, through up both fists into the air and cheers, "I passed! I passed! I passed!" HAHAHAHA! It was so much fun. Thank you Blue Ridge for a good week!

Guernsey
This week Grace Baptist was back in Memphis and was in for a new experience, G-Street. In the past this team worked Whittier and Leahy's but they were so willing to love on new(and even some familiar!) faces at Guernsey. This week was definitely a hot one with numerous heat advisories but each day the team came out to the lot even more pumped than the day before. Everyday they led songs as a group in the beginning of club and they even had some help from some of our older girls, DaNaisa and Faith. These girls have not only been asking many questions about Christ but they have been intentionally looking for ways to serve the other kids at club. They are always begging to move to the younger kid group to help them with their crafts and they love helping me pass out water and lunches. This team was so intentional to pray with the kids and even asked in crafts one day what they could specifically pray for each kid. They listened as a couple children shared their requests and then they prayed over them. On the final day after I dismissed each group, the team took their walking groups towards the entrance to the lot and prayed over each one. I cannot wait to see the lasting effects that these prayers and this team's overflow of Christ's love will have on Guernsey for the rest of the summer. Thank you Grace Baptist Church for a great week and for selflessly loving and serving this community!

                                 Johnson
This past week at Johnson bible club was a hot one! We had to cut club short due to heat advisories but the kids loved every minute they had with the folks from Broad River Baptist Association. The kids had a blast at bible club and got to watch great puppet bible stories all week. And many of these kids getting loved on were new to Johnson bible club because we opened a new route! We were able to walk and get kids from some apartments close to our site. The whole week went great and Broad River poured out everything they had as they went home exhausted with Dearie riding shotgun. The kids got to go home with backpacks full of goodies and the knowledge of Christ’s love. It was a great week at Johnson!

Que-Que
This week at Que Que was a blast with Epworth UMC in the house! The team came in prepared for a great week, they even brought a handmade gaga pit with them! The pit was very versatile as we used it for circle up, lunch, and of course playing gaga ball! Epworth even had all the kids sign the pit as a lasting reminder of their time here in Memphis. The team pushed through the heat making a high of 70 kids on Tuesday and all of them were loved to the max.The kids loved all the crafts, bible stories, games, and songs that Epworth brought to the table! Especially the lollipop baby Jesus! By the end of the week the kids had definitely started to connect with the team! Even to the point of trying to stow away in the trailer or in the back of the van. The team also spoiled them with buying everyone a freezee cup at the end of the week! The kids will definitely be missing Epworth the rest of this summer and so will we! Please continue to pray for Que Que as we continue on with this summer!

Kendrick
Kendrick welcomed South Oaks Baptist Church from Arlington, Texas for week four at Street Reach. This was their first time visiting Street Reach and they came in with enthusiasm and they were ready to love on the kids. Each and every day they were ready to canvas the neighborhood for kids. The kids fed off their energy resulting in good behavior from all the kids. It was such a joy to see the kids full of happiness and excitement from the joy that the team brought to them. They brought new songs for the kids to sing and dance to. They also brought snacks for the kids to enjoy with their lunches, which was a big hit among them. They enjoyed the games that South Oaks brought for the kids to participate in, especially the water relays. The kids received more attention due to the temperatures and smaller numbers. The kids were eager to get bible club started every day this week and they were sad to see this awesome team leave on Friday. Thank you so much South Oaks for loving on the kids at Kendrick.

                                 Whittier
This week at Whittier, we were excited to welcome South Oaks Baptist Church from Arlington, Texas to Street Reach for the first time! Although they were unsure of what all they would be getting into, each team member was excited to experience Bible Club and get to know the kids. Monday was a day of learning, as we were met with difficulties in the form of heat advisories and the adjustment of new faces and personalities. However, team members quickly found out what worked and did not work with these kids, and adjusted their stations as needed, so by Tuesday, they were Bible Club pros! Each day, the team members noted what the kids responded to and did not respond to, and changed their songs, games, crafts, or Bible story techniques accordingly. By Wednesday, there were multiple kids excitedly running up to Bible Club before the teams even returned from their walking routes, ready to experience the love of Christ through the students of South Oaks. One team member, Hope, had the opportunity to talk with one child’s mom, who expressed how much Marlek enjoyed Bible Club, and had chosen to attend club all summer, even when given the alternative option of attending baseball camp. It is amazing to watch as the Lord draws us and our community to Himself, and needs nothing more than willing hearts to do so. He uses each of us, regardless of our background, our experience, or our abilities, and changes our hearts and the hearts of those around us in the process. Thank you, South Oaks, for making the long trek to Memphis to not only tell, but show our kids what love looks like, and for pointing them to the creator of love Himself.
-Big Em
Pope
We had a fantastic second week at Pope with FBC Thurmont there to minister to the kids! The team was highly intentional and because of this the children felt valued and truly participated in all of the club activities and the sight was beautiful. The 2-5 age group did not always want to stay in their stations so Thurmont adapted by sitting them in their laps while each holding a copy of the Toddlers Bible for bible story, playing Mr. Bear and freeze tag for games station, and even the older girls craft station helped the little ones by making salvation bracelets for them as they ate lunch for their entire crafts time. In the older boys' songs station we saved the cardboard boxes from lunch and created a break dance station which they danced and flipped on. The older kids even brought friends to club instead of staying at home when they had friends over! It was a very hot week with heat advisory warnings every day except Friday and it showed in the number of kids that came out. Friday we matched our summer high of 42 kids! We were still getting new kids as at least three of the families who came to bible club had just moved to the area. I thank you so much Thurmont for your prayers and intentionality while serving. Please pray for Pope and the kids there as it is not running next week.

Vernon
How’s it hanging everybody! Once again we had an amazing week. This week we welcomed a new and an awesome team, Dripping Springs Baptist Church! Like always, Vernon was a burning, but this week it was on fire! The new team hit the ground running on day one and didn’t stop until after club on Friday. This week the team journeyed out and canvased as well as they could; so this week with some harsh heat Vernon had on average 20-25 kids daily.  Due to these conditions we missed a few of our regular’s. We had a few “water game days” and a very fun “messy games day”, which consisted of items such as shaving cream to a bag of dried beans! We had a great time acting our bible stories out, decorating canteens, and of course we did some singing to “Bazooka Bubble gum” and some dancing to the famous “ Watch me”! Everyday this week, the team handed out a going home snack, along with a huge goodie bag on Friday. The kids had a blast! It was amazing to see what God had planned for Vernon this past week.  Along with bible club this week, Vernon had a few other visitors doing construction on the inside of the old house. A few team members from FBC Thurmond gutted the inside. Thank you to FBC Thurmont for the work you contributed to the Vernon house this week and thank you Dripping Springs Baptist Church! The kids loved you all, and I can’t thank you all enough for fulfilling the call to be the hands and feet of Jesus this week in Memphis. Hope to see everyone next year. Safe travels to everyone and I hope y’all have a blessed summer!
-Hunter
Treadwell
Treadwell’s second week this summer and it’s been no where but up as we hit our high of 44 kids on Thursday! This week we had a new team from Dripping Springs Baptist Church join us and they hit the ground running. The kids enjoyed every minute of Bible club as songs were pumped up, games involved water, crafts made some awesome canteens, and Bible story hit some hard truths. On Monday, one of our team members already got the opportunity to sit with one of the kids and answer some difficult questions about the gospel and what it means to follow Christ. The team even dominated on canvasing as they found new kids on their routes to bring to Bible club and share the love of Christ with. These kids have been hungry for love and truth and they sure have enjoyed having Dripping Springs here. For not knowing what exactly they were getting into this team sure was ready to love on these kids and had a difficult time saying goodbye until next year. Thanks Dripping Springs for being the hands and feet of Christ at Treadwell this week! Hope to see y'all back again next summer!
-Allison

Jackson
FBC Gleason rocked it at Jackson this week! This week was a hot one, that’s for sure, but God definitely provided strength and energy to the team this week. I watched as they gave the kids their undivided attention in over 100 degree weather as if the heat wasn’t even an issue. This team spent a lot of time just hanging out and having conversations with the children. It couldn’t have gone better. The kids loved having that ‘special attention’ from Gleason and engaging in  one-on-one conversation with their new friends. I walked by every group to see the kids totally sucked in to whatever the team members were saying or doing. The kids especially had fun at crafts and got to make jewelry two times this week (For anyone who doesn't know, these kids LOVE jewelry and some will probably wear their craft for the rest of the summer). I am so thankful to have gotten to spend a week with this amazing group. FBC Gleason, you guys were great. Thank you for answering the call to love on the kids at Jackson this week! Continue to pray for the staff and MITs at Street Reach, this week was already our half way point for the summer! God is and will continue to do great things for the kids at Jackson. All the glory to Him!

Week 3-FBC Munford, Heritage UMC, Hartland Baptist, Yadkin, Calvary Sr. High & FBC Fisherville

Rosamond
Sending hellos to you Street Reachers, both near and far, from those of us at Street Reach Rosamond! Calvary Church was on the lot this week, bringing with them passion and purpose. Rain or shine the team showed up, and chose love even in the event of a kid acting out. Missionaries powered through the Memphis heat and were constantly found with a child (or several children) propped on their shoulders. Hands were held out for helping where needed and encouragement for staff and team members was not at all lacking. I especially enjoyed listening throughout the week to individuals share of the works they had seen Jesus doing in the community, things I may or may not have realized prior to said story times. Through words and actions Calvary expressed their belief in the great plans God has for Memphis, Street Reach, our Bible Club kids, and just as importantly, themselves. From ukulele playing under a shade tree to playing tic-tac-toe with chalk, from unloading heavy lunches to bandaging scraped big toes, evident was Jesus in this Calvary Church team. Thank you all for answering the call, and the rest of you for reading this! By the Maker, you and our kiddos at Rosamond are seen, known, and loved. That's the word on the street until next time, folks.

National
It was a great week at National as we had a group from Fisherville in the house! They came with a lot of energy and were very excited because most of them actually served at National last year. It was really cool because they got to see a lot of the same kids that they poured into last summer. The relationships that they made with some of the kids last summer grew even stronger this week, and it was really awesome to see those relationships grow. The team went out everyday and got as many kids as possible to come to bible club. They even got a lot of new kids who had never been to bible club before. The didn't hold back anything and they poured out everything they had to the kids. Whether it was through bible story or games, God's love was definitely being shown to the kids through the team. I was able to ask a lot of the older kids questions about the bible story each day and a lot of them could tell me exactly what they learned. It was really awesome to hear that the kids were learning the Gospel and that they could actually tell it themselves! Thank you Fisherville for being the hands and feet and bringing a whole lot of love to National!

Kippley
Good morning inter-webs! "How am I doing?", you ask? Well pretty fantastic because week 3 of Street Reach was Week 1 of BIBLE CLUB KIPPLEY!!!!!! Congratulations go out to Hartland Baptist for kicking Kippley's summer of with a great start. Bible club kids made masks and capes, learned about various heroes of the bible, and sang and danced to "Jesus your my super hero" every day at bible club. Many of the kids even started discovering their own various super powers, like flying, chalk drawing, and the ability to survive heavy rainfall. Yeah, we had a wet day on Friday, but that didn't stop the kids from coming and getting loved on. All in all, the week was good, the kids had loads of fun, and the word that "bible club is back" was spread throughout the neighborhood. I'd call that a success. Well, tune in next time to find out more about the happenings at bible club Kippley. In the meantime, peace out, rock on, and live free. Jesus didn't die for nothing.

Guernsey
What a blessing it was to serve with Calvary from St. Louis this week! This group had quite a bit of new members on the team but that didn't stop their passion for G-Street and the kids. Every day kids faithfully came out because of this team's faithfulness to love on them. Even though it rained on Friday we had 43 kids come out to see this team one last time, see Christ's love, and to literally sing in the rain. This week we had so many new little ones at club! It was such a sweet thing to see some of our older girls at Bible Club who don't even have younger siblings taking initiative and moving over to help keep the little ones in their stations. They sat and helped them with their craft, taught them how to whip, and played Mr. Bear. These kids are watching the many missionaries who have come in to show love to them and it's such a blessing to watch them turn around to do the same within their community. Thank you Calvary for faithfully planting and watering seeds at G-Street and all across this neighborhood this week!

Johnson
The third week of bible club was a fun one as we had Calvary in the house all the way from Saint Louis, Missouri. The team had lots of energy and the heat did not deter them from loving the kids with everything they had. The high for the week on Thursday when we had 62 children and we didn’t have less than 50 kids the whole week. At songs station the kids were whipping and Nae Naeing all week long as the white team members tried to keep up. Even Tanky showed up! Tanky was a kid that always hung out with teams at Urban Farms but moved and we lost track of him for a while. But sure enough Tanky showed up on Thursday to club from the Orange route that picks kids up from the Cove. It sure was great getting to reconnect with a long lost friend. Club was great all week and it ended with a bang. Friday it poured rain on us for at least 45 minutes and the kids loved it! The team was great and never backed down from the challenge of running bible club in a hurricane.

Que Que
We had an amazing week at Club Que-Que with the Heritage UMC team! They came in with three main goals for the week: love the kids, show them Jesus, and get them lunch! These goals were checked off one by one as the kids came pouring in throughout the week! Our kids loved every part of this team! One day I was walking with a little boy named Junior who is two years old and he was singing “I rejoice, I rejoice in the Lord” which was a main song that Heritage taught throughout the week. I was reminded of how impressionable these kids are and how great of an opportunity we at Street Reach have received to introduce some of those good thoughts into their heads. During site meeting on Wednesday morning the challenge was thrown out there for every student to talk about Jesus in some way at least ten times that day. The next day when we asked how many completed their challenge all of them raised their hand! That means that with 33 team members the name of Jesus was mentioned 330 times at bible club! How amazing is that! The team continued to love on these kids for the next day and on Friday even ran through some rain to take them home! Because of the rain we ended club early meaning our kids had not received their lunches yet. Heritage had insisted that we go from door to door making sure that the kids received the lunches. I was so blessed to see their willingness and their heart for these children as all 98 lunches were given away along with a good-bye hug! So thank you Heritage for all the hard work and love you have poured out to the Club Que-Que kids, you will be missed!

Kendrick
What a week we had at Kendrick for week number three. We welcomed back Yadkin Baptist Church from Lenoir, North Carolina. The group of eleven was  eager to get back to Kendrick and love on the kids. They came in excited to see the kids and I knew that it was going to be a great week. This week was definitely a sweet week with the kids as they were so happy to see some familiar faces return to their bible club. It was awesome to see the kids faces as they saw old friends. The kids were very eager to start bible club each day and wanted to lead the circle-up in a song everyday. The team had no problem getting the kids pumped up at each station. Each time a kid was asked their favorite part of bible club it was always everything. I enjoyed watching every kid have a smile on their face at each and every station. I looked forward to each day for bible club and the week only got better as it progressed. I cannot wait to see how the rest of the summer will unfold. Thank you Yadkin for loving the Kendrick kids so well!
-Bef
Whittier
This week at Whittier was very exciting for both our team and kids, not only because we were able to serve over 50 children, but also because it was the opening week for the Whittier site! On multiple occasions throughout the week, the community expressed their appreciation for Street Reach and for our team, Calvary Church, and let us know how excited they were that we were back on their streets and serving their children. It was a blessing to see both new faces and old friends, as many of our returning team members were able to reunite with kids that they had been able to love on in previous years at Street Reach. The energy of Calvary’s youth was contagious, and their love for the Lord and for these children was constantly overflowing in every station, as Bible stories were told, bracelets were made, “Little Red Wagon” was sung, and Mr. Bear was played. In the Bible Story station, our oldest group of kids discussed difficult concepts with team members Mikey and Chase, doing their best to really understand the idea of forgiveness and how incredible it is that the Lord forgives all of us when we ask. It was beautiful  to listen as our children came to a deeper understanding of the character of our God, as they were unafraid to ask questions and were slowly processing what they were hearing. It is evident that seeds were both planted and watered this week by the work of the Lord through Calvary Church, and we are excited to witness what more the Lord will do to build upon the foundation that He has already laid during this wonderful week!
-Big Em
Pope
It was a fantastic first week at Pope thanks to Cavalry Church from Saint Louis. Their willingness to canvas and be intentional with all of the children showed in that we had a high of forty-two kids this week! God's love shown through this team was undeniable as Bryana accepted Christ as her Savior and Russel one of our toddlers, who doesn't talk a whole lot, looked some of them in the eyes and told them that he will miss them. I thank you Cavalry for being willing, flexible, and always finding a way to have fun such as singing All Across the Nation in huge rain puddles. You guys rock!
-Rachael
Vernon
What up y’all! We started week number three welcoming FBC Mumford to Vernon. This was the first week Street Reach ran Vernon, so it was an exciting start for the kids this summer. The week started with the team canvasing to 25 kids and ended up pulling a total of 35 kids on Thursday; breaking and setting a new record! The smiling faces running down the street warmed the hearts of the returning team members. Right off the bat, the team jumped into club with all hands on deck! Our kids this week had one request,” Mr. Hunter can we do the nae-nae?” So the team and my self proved we could be white and that we can dance as they presented “Watch Me” to the crowd of screaming children doing the dances. The week turned out very hot, with Friday being a wash out! One of our kids named Latravis told us a heartwarming dream he had Thursday night. This little boy told Mrs. Stacey and myself that he had a dream that Jesus told him to continue to spread the good news with others. This story touched our team and myself as a nine-year-old boy told us it all started because of Bible Club! What a blessing God showed us this week. I want to say a huge thank you to FBC Mumford for the hard work and dedication they showed this week! Safe travels and may you all have a blessed summer!
-Hunter
Treadwell
Treadwell kicked off the summer with its first week this week and God’s presence is already evident as He is not only revealing Himself to the kids but to the team members as well. First Baptist Church Fisherville returned to Treadwell this week with Christ in their hearts and the kids on their minds. Each day was a journey with Christ as prayers were answered unexpectantly, divine appointments were realized, and relationships were deepened. Reaching over 58 different kids this week, the team poured out God’s love on to these kids everyday from memorizing scripture about King David’s story to having pool noodle sword fights. To wrap up the week everyone enjoyed God’s cool blessing as we played and splashed in the rain together on our normally hot and shadeless site. Thank you Fisherville for your willingness to be the hands and feet of Christ within this neighborhood!
-Allison
Gaisman
Week three here in Memphis was outstanding!  I had the opportunity to open up a brand new club site along with FBC Fisherville in Gaisman Park. The children near this park got to hear about Jesus, some for the first time.  FBC Fisherville came in with so much excitement and energy, all of which they poured out in to the community and into the kids at club.  Even though the community was unaware of who we were, the team never stopped sharing the Good News and meeting the needs of a new pocket of kids.  By the end of the week, 20 kids came out to Gaisman and we managed to share Christ love with a total of 30 kids for the first time this summer!  Even community members who did not have children were thankful for us being there.  Many people thanked us, welcomed us, and shared their stories with us throughout the week.  It really was a great week getting to know not only these 30 children but also this loving community.  One child in particular who could not be more excited that we were there beat us to club every morning.  Bjorn, who had never been to Bible Club before, would be waiting on us to get to club in the mornings and would help me set up the park for club each day.  He would even bring his Bible to club!  The Lord really moved through FBC Fisherville this week and blessed not only the community, but the team and myself.  I can’t wait to see how the Lord uses Club Gaisman the rest of the summer to minister to this community which I’m sure we’ve only scratched the surface of.  Please pray for the 30 kids that we met this week and the many more we will meet the throughout the summer.
-D'Marcus
Jackson
First week of Jackson… Done! Calvary set an amazing foundation for the rest of the summer. We had great numbers this week and even had 63 kids show up on Thursday (And this is only the beginning)! I watched God provide strength and energy to the members of Calvary as their bodies quickly became jungle gyms that every child wanted to the top of. Team members did an amazing job at captivating the kids’ attention the entire day, I walked past Bible Story at one point this week to be bombarded by 7 and 8 year olds proudly telling me that they prayed out loud to the rest of the group. Even on Friday when Jackson was practically flooding from all the rain we had, our team had fun ‘singing in the rain’ and running around being completely crazy with the kids. I could tell that every kid at Bible Club genuinely wanted to be there, and who wouldn't after the team loved on them so well? Calvary- Thank you so much for being the hands and feet of Christ this week. You guys have planted seeds that will continue to grow for the rest of the summer. I couldn’t have been more blessed to have you all as my first team of 2015. I cannot wait to see what God has to do with Jackson Park, keep us in your prayers!
-Bristow and Noah

This past week we were able to open so many bible club sites for the first time this summer/ever. Thursday we ministered to 601 kids between all 13 of these
sites. We are so thankful for the many mission teams who answered the call and stood on the frontline for the kids in this community this past week and we cannot wait to see what The Lord has in store for each of these bible clubs this summer.

Week 2-Loudon County Association, Union Grove Baptist, FBC Brunswick, & Fellowship of Montgomery

Rosamond

Hidey ho good neighbors! Street Reach Rosamond had a great week two. The average of 74 kids a day had a ton of fun in the sun. Not even the heat could keep them from bible club. Our crafts this week were very unique; my personal favorite was the finger painted tiles. I even learned a new song game to play - Oreo. The most fun part of each day was the shouting matches between stations to see who could shout "we love Jesus" the loudest. Thank you to Union Grove Baptist church for pumping so much excitement into the kids this week. GREAT job! Keep on praying for these kids and for the mission teams this summer. And remember, the Kingdom of God is HERE! Have a great day, a good week ahead, and don't forget to drink your Ovaltine. Bye!
-Kaden @ Rosamond

National

What a great second week at National! Clear skies all week with a high of 91 everyday, but the heat didn't stop the kids from coming out! The team’s canvassing was great and resulted in several new kids coming to club. Wednesday we had total of 79 kids attending bible club! Loudon County showed up and showed out. We had great crafts all week including puppets, bracelets, soap carvings, and more! Bible story was on point teaching the kids the difference between good and bad and what that looks like in Jesus’ eyes. Games and songs were full of energy and nonstop the whole week! Thank you, Loudon County for your willingness to serve and love on our kids. We can’t wait to see you back next year!
 -Kay Kay

Que-Que

This week at Street Reach God enabled us to open a brand new bible club site called “Club Que-Que”. The name of our new site was inspired by the name of one of our students of BHUA. His name is Marquavious. This week we were expecting to have 30-40 kids but were taken by surprise when we had 60 kids show up to club the first day with a high of 103 on Thursday. Structure is very new to this group of kids but by the end of the week our kids started to get into the swing of things. This week God provided us with an amazing group of 22 that came all the way from Montgomery, Texas to love on our kids. We are so thankful for them and thankful to our almighty God who worked through each of them and share Christ’s love. We are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for the rest of the summer at Club Que-Que.
-Katie

Guernsey

Brunswick was back in the house a week early for another awesome year of Guernsey Bible Club. Each person on this team was so eager to love on every kid that walked onto the lot and the kids from last summer were so excited to see the team return. Throughout the week everything this team did was Gospel centered. Whether they were singing songs or jumping rope, literally everything was intentionally brought back to the Gospel. The children were constantly telling me about how God wants to adopt us and make us His sons and daughters. Friday as we were lining up to dismiss, Jarmon ran up to me and said “I just can’t wait to show you Miss Sarah! Look! This is my brand new bible and it’s easy to understand.” These kids are so hungry for The Word and I am thankful that this team not only spoke it but lived it out in this neighborhood this week. Thank you FBC Brunswick for answering the call and loving on the G-Street kids!

Johnson

The second week at Johnson bible club was a great one as the kids at club got to get close to the missionaries from Loudon County, Tennessee. It was hot and sunny all week but that didn’t stop the kids from coming out. We had a high of 75 kids on Thursday and the kids were having a blast. We were able to continue doing routes on the west side of Tillman and it might have inspired a new route for next week. The kids really loved bible story this week and we had a couple of salvations reported on Friday that we are definitely going to follow up on. The team did a great job of building on the foundation that was laid the first week and the kids are surely excited to come back to bible club this upcoming week. A big thanks to Loudon County Baptist Association for pouring out their love and energy on the kids of Binghampton all week long.

Week 1-Gracepointe Church, Mt. View Baptist Church, Boanerges, Unity Baptist Church & Crockett Point Baptist Church

Rosamond

Hello and good morning Street Reachers, this is Kaden coming to you live from Bible Club Rosamond. Actually, that's a lie, because I'm sitting in a cafeteria on my laptop at 8:33pm. But none the less, we have seen the greatness of God this week. Beautiful skies and 70 degree weather marked the beginning of the week as children poured from houses and apartments to come play soccer, color, and learn about God with our six volunteers from Mount View Baptist Church. Their efforts to bring the gospel to the children of this community in need of a savior were blessed by God as he sent an average of 81 kids per day to bible club with a high of 107 on Thursday - praise be to God!!! Numbers are not what it is all about, but knowing that 107 kids heard about Jesus at bible club on only the fourth day of the whole summer is marvelous. Jesus wasn't kidding when he said the harvest is plentiful. Keep these kids in your prayers as the summer kicks off from here. Pray for God to save souls and change lives here at bible club, and pray that the mission teams coming in to work at Rosamond will have the energy to handle the flood gates of children God will send in the weeks to come. Well, it's my bed time. Hasta la Vista to all and to all a good night.

National

We started off the first week of bible club at National with a group from Crockett Point Baptist Church. They were a small group of 10 people, but they were so willing to go out and get as many kids as God was willing to send them. They poured out God's love to each and every kid there. By the end of the week, God faithfully brought us 58 kids, and it was really awesome! The team brought some really cool crafts that went along with the bible story everyday, and they also brought prizes to give to the kids. They gave out prizes at the end of the week to the kids who memorized the memory verse. It was a really cool way to help the kids learn the verse and memorize it. We are thankful for the team that God hand picked to come serve this first week and for the kids that he hand picked to come to club. We are also thankful for the teams willingness to answer the call and to serve this week. Thank you Crockett Point for being God's hands and feet and for pouring his love out to every child who came to club. All in all, it was a great first week at National, and we can't wait to see what God is going to do the rest of the summer!

Kendrick

Tonight as I sit in reverence of what God has done this week I cannot stop smiling. I was so blessed to serve alongside Grace Pointe Baptist Church. This week we ranged an average of 25-40 kids at Kendrick. Our first week back out on the street was definitely a success. The Lord's hands were clearly at work all over our site this week. God used this team to do amazing things! I can't wait to see what He has in store for the coming weeks of summer. Thank you Gracepointe for sharing God's loving kindness and faithfulness with the kids at Kendrick with constant smiles and laughing.

Guernsey

It was such a blessing to serve alongside Unity Baptist for Guernsey’s first week of Bible Club. This week I was constantly reminded by this team of 1 John 4. We love because He first loved us. Our love for this community is a result of Christ’s love for us. This team came in so ready to show each child the love of Christ. While they definitely loved on the cute and cuddly kids it was so sweet to see them build relationships with some of our older, tougher kids. On Wednesday I blew the whistle to rotate stations and all of the groups lined up, except for the 10 and older group. I looked over and was confused. They were in songs and the next station for them was games and we all know how that group loves games. They were all gathered in a circle singing the G-Street chant as loud as they could. One day I walked over to bible story and one of the kids was retelling the bible story to all of the other kids. We talked about how we each fail God every single day but He is so good and forgives us constantly. When the kids were asked “who is so good?” one child yelled “who do you think?! Duh God is just too good to us”. Whether it was through coloring crafts, playing duck, duck, goose, or chanting “we love Jesus yes we do” across club, each child saw His love and His goodness overflowing from this team this week. Thank you Unity Baptist Church for your passion, love, and willingness to serve. I cannot wait to see how the seeds planted this week will continue to grow throughout this summer. I hope to see you back next summer!

Johnson

The first week at Johnson bible club this summer was a great one! We had Boanerges Baptist Church in from Old Fort, Tennessee and they did a great job loving the kids in Binghampton. We had a great first week of weather and we also had an incredible turnout. Wednesday we had 91 kids show up to bible club which was the high for the week and an amazing amount of kids for the first week of summer. At bible club we were blessed to see lots of new faces and had the opportunity to minister to kids that we have never had a bible club before which was very exciting. It was a great kickoff to our summer here at Johnson bible club and Boanerges did a great job of getting the kids pumped for a whole summer of bible club and learning about Christ’s love.

We were able to run 5 sites this week and minister to so many children with 341 coming out on Thursday(just the 4th day of club!). We are so thankful for each of the teams that came in to be the hands and feet of Christ this week to this community. We are also thankful for each of your prayers. Please pray for the sites opening up this next week and for the seeds that were planted this past week to continue to grow.
