Week 3 - Stonebridge Church, Forestville Baptist Church, Fairlane Church, Crosspoint Community Church, Helena UMC, & Friendship Baptist

Rosamond
Hey! Oh! Stonebridge Church has soul! We are so thankful for the love and energy Stonebridge brought to Bible Club this week! The team came prepared to share the love of Christ with every single person God allowed them to meet. Bible Club was always so much fun, and more kids came out every day to participate! Despite the uncertain weather, Stonebridge pressed on and played hard. Games station was a blast, from sharks and minnows to kickball! Songs station was full of laughs and crazy dance moves, and crafts were always neatly related to that day’s Bible story. Stonebridge did an awesome job of encouraging participation in every station and giving attention to the kids as individuals and a whole. Some of the team members made friendship bracelets for the kids at club, and the kids were stoked to have something so sweet to remember their new friends by. Simply put, this week was awesome. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Stonebridge! We cannot wait to see what God has in store for the rest of the summer at Bible Club Rosamond!

National
Week 3 of Bible club is over, but all I can think about is how awesome our God is! Forestville Baptist Church joined us at National this week. The team came in with hearts on fire for Jesus's name to be known at Bible club. The kids really enjoyed playing freeze dance at songs and making tambourines and autograph books at crafts. One of my favorite parts about this week though was seeing each kid actively diving into God's word. At Bible story, Forestville split the kids up into small groups and then told the kids verses to find in the Bible. Every kid was excited to find their verses! The team did a great job of breaking down each Bible verse and story in a way each of the kids could understand. Forestville was eager to reach and love as many kids as possible. On Tuesday, a high of 58 kids heard the Gospel and were loved on! The Lord is so faithful, y'all. Thank you for a great week, Forestville! Continue to be in prayer for Bible Club National as we start week 4!

Whittier
There ain't no Bible Club like the Whit-Vegas Bible Club! Fairlane Church (with the help of Lauren Vernon and friends) proved that this week! The cool, breezy weather allowed the teams to minister well and love on lots of kids to their hearts’ extent. This week’s Bible stories focused on God's grace and King David. Friday, the kids made maracas that helped tell the story of David making music to praise God. Songs station deserves a special shout-out for their high energy. The kids loved competing as boys vs girls and getting to help lead the songs. Over at games, the kids ran their little hearts out playing Sharks and Minnows and Mr. Bear. With a high of 46 kids this week, every single child was shown the love of Jesus through Fairlane Church. This Whittier crew poured so much into the kids and community this week, and we can't wait to have them back next year!

Jackson
Jackson Park is where it's at! Crosspoint Community Church came to serve with us this week at Jackson, and it was a week filled with laughter and intentional love for all the kids at club. The kiddos played some hilarious games of chase the chicken at the games station, and in songs kids could be seen dancing to the Cotton Eyed Joe and other dance jams. On Wednesday, the kids made autograph books for all of their friends to sign. I could tell that the little notes that we wrote in their books showed them that we were friends and that we cared for them. The kids had so much fun running around to all their favorite team members to get their book signed! All week at Bible story the kids learned different parts of the story of David, and on Thursday they were able to hear the gospel explained to them. Several kids prayed the prayer of salvation, and we can’t wait to follow up with them! We praise God for the work that He is doing at Jackson! Please continue to pray that He would reveal more and more of Himself to our kids every day.

Guernsey
What an awesome third week it was for Guernsey Bible Club with Helena UMC in town! This was the team’s first trip to Street Reach, and I loved seeing the passion that they had for Memphis grow as the week went on! The team brought a speaker for their song station, and all the of the kids enjoyed dancing along as well as teaching team members new dance moves. Bible story brought costumes and instruments to keep all the kids engaged in the story. The older boys loved the instruments and even got to make up their own beats and songs that related to the Bible story. Our middle-aged kids enjoyed games the most, especially when they were able to have sack races. Our older girls sang along as they jumped rope in games, and they even turned it into a friendly competition with one another. In crafts the kids made autograph books and enjoyed getting their friends and team members signatures along with encouraging messages from people who love them. We are so thankful for the many blessing the Lord has given Guernsey Bible Club! A huge thank you to Helena UMC for making relationships with the kids and showing them Christ’s love so well. We appreciate you!

Pope
“We have hope, we have life in our Lord Jesus Christ.” Friendship Baptist Church had the key to the Kingdom for Pope Bible Club this week. No rain nor clouds could keep this team from loving on all the kiddos at Bible Club. We were so blessed to have a high of 50 kids come to club on Thursday. Games like Mr. Bear and Tips kept games station full of fun all week. The kids loved playing, shouting, and laughing with the team. Friendship walked the kids at Pope through the Bible, from creation to the cross. We are especially thankful that Friendship dedicated so much time to share the gospel with the kids. Every child left Bible Club with a Bible in hand as the week came to an end. As the summer continues, we believe we will see the seeds planted by Friendship turn into growing plants at Pope. Thank you for serving Pope well, Friendship Baptist!

Week 2 - FBC Fisherville, Munford Baptist, FBC Shamrock, FBC Monticello, South Community Church, Fall Creek Baptist Church, Northwest Baptist Church, & the Hannibal-LaGrange Volleyball Gals.

Rosamond
FBC Fisherville had soul at Rosamond this week! Our kids spent the week learning about the fruits of the spirit and the armor of God. Crafts tied in perfectly with Bible story all week, which was a great way for Fisherville to reinforce the important lessons they were teaching the kids. Songs station was always hype, especially when the team taught the kids a jump rope chant about walking streets of gold! It was awesome to see every age group of kids excited to try the jump roping chant and challenge! Additionally, games station was always hopping! The energy never died down during kickball tournaments! We were fortunate to see some new faces at Bible club every day this week, and we cannot wait to continue to minister to all of the kids at Rosamond throughout the summer! Thank you, FBC Fisherville, for spending week 2 with us! We are so thankful for your offerings of time and talents.

National
What a great second week at National Bible club! Munford Baptist came to town this week with their hearts ready to love, and their hands and feet ready to serve. We have worked with this team for years now and it is so encouraging to see their lasting passion and love for our community. Munford made everything about Bible club a blast! Whether they were playing volleyball at games or making superhero masks at crafts, the kids enjoyed every single second of it. At the beginning of the week, the team found out that some of their favorite kids did not live in the area anymore. It was hard for them, but they knew God would faithfully send the kids that He wanted to be at Bible club. We sat back and watched the team fall in love with and build beautiful relationships with new kids. It was a special reminder that although things don't always go the way we expect, God is so faithful and always provides. And guess what? Some of the kids that moved actually showed up one day and got to hang out with the team! God is so cool, y'all. I have no doubt that every kid at Bible club felt loved and saw the love of Christ through the team this week. Thank you, Munford Baptist!

Guernsey
FBC Shamrock came to hang out on G-Street for week 2! This returning team came excited to reconnect with kids they remembered from last summer. There was a unique craft every day for the kids to enjoy. From making pillows to carving soap to making key chains, the kids loved all of the hands-on activities! The team taught our older girls the remixes to bible club songs along with different dance moves. The girls loved learning those and turning them into dance competitions. The older girls looked forward to songs each day, and even decided to teach the team some songs, such as “oreo." It was so sweet to look over throughout the day and watch the girls genuinely enjoying their time at songs. Bible story had a memory verse for the week, and some of the kids were able to memorize it by the end of the week! I was so proud of the kids as they came up to me throughout the week and excitedly told me what they had learned. It was a great week at Guernsey, and I am excited to see where the Lord takes us this summer. A huge thanks to FBC Shamrock! Please continue to pray for the kids at G-street in the weeks to come.

Jackson
FBC Fisherville came in for week 2 at Jackson, and we had so much fun! Bible story was a big hit as kids had the chance to act out marching around the walls of Jericho in addition to learning about the story of Naaman from puppets! Games station was always busy with sack races and elbow tag. So much fun! In crafts, the kids loved decorating paper horns that said “satan stinks,” and on Friday, all of the kids could be seen running around with their very own belt of truth! One day this week, as the older girls were eating their lunch in songs station, the girls were asked what they wanted to thank God for. Nataiyah shared that she thanked God that He had sent people here so that they could pick her up and bring her to Bible club. Overhearing this conversation, I was so touched to know what Bible club means to Nataiyah, and that she understood that it was God who had sent us here to love on the community around her. Keep praying that God would reveal more and more of Himself through Bible club as the summer continues. What a privilege it is that God allows us to be a part of His work!

QueQue
Q -U-E! Q-U-E! We couldn’t think of a better place to be! Week two was a sweet week. FBC Monticello and some volleyball gals from Hannibal-LaGrange University came out to rock our socks. From soap whittling to relay races, everything about our club was fun! The kids were loved on so well this week, and all that love transferred to how well the kids received the Bible stories. The kids learned a lot about choices this week, and we are so thankful that FBC Monticello and the volleyball gals made the choice to love the kids at Que Que! I believe that the Que Que kids learned a lot from the team this week and took their Bible story lessons to heart each day. This week was giggles galore! We are so thankful for Monticello and the Volleyball girls for all they did this week, and we are already ready for them to be back!

Whittier
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” - Colossians‬ ‭3:23-24‬
South Community Church did what this verse commands so well this week. Every kid that came to Whittier Bible club this week got to experience the love of Christ & have loads of fun. Every time I looked around, the kids were either so engaged in the Bible story, dancing in songs, playing hard and doing relay races, or proudly showing off their crafts. The kids kept coming back - plus bringing siblings and friends with them because of how fun Bible Club was & how loved they felt. Because South Community’s passion for our kids, we reached a high of 50 kids this week. I cannot put into words how well South Community loved this community and how hard they worked to serve God and others. We can’t thank you enough! We will miss y’all so much. Come and see us at Whitvegas again soon! Until then, prayers for changed hearts & lives in this community would be greatly appreciated. Week 2 was so so good to us!

Pope
I just wanna throw up, I just wanna throw up, I just wanna throw up my hands to the Lord! This is one of the songs that the kids at Bible Club Pope loved singing this week alongside Fall Creek Baptist Church! The kids and staff had an amazing time with the Fall Creek team this week. At crafts, the kids got to make crosses, necklaces, bracelets, and even some backpacks. Over at games station, the team taught the kids some cool new games like rag tag. Several kids told us that songs was one of their favorite parts of the day. They just want to be sheep, bah bah bah bah, which they learned plenty about at Bible story. Fall Creek taught the kids how to be sheep with a Shepherd, and how to not be deceitful. The kids enjoyed games like rag tag, samurai sword, and Mr. Bear. We even had a high of 40 kids! Thanks for a great week, Fall Creek!
-Carla & Tanisha

Kendrick
Romans 8:31 tells us, “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” We certainly saw the truth of this scripture at Kendrick this week. God showed up and showed out through the hands and feet of Northwest Baptist Church at Kendrick Bible Club! From drawing the story of the Lost Sheep on a whiteboard to learning about the Garden of Gethsemane, the kids were all ears at Bible story. Crafts was nothing short of fun, from making sweet sheep to decorating a fence to keep the sheep in. Songs had the kids jamming to a cool beat as the kids learned that nothing can be against them when God is for them. Games varied from Duck Duck Goose to a ball toss that always kept the kids on their toes. Fun was definitely had by all! Thank you so much Northwest Baptist Church for coming to serve and love with so much heart for the kids of Memphis!

Week 1 - St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Shady Grove Baptist Church, FBC Canton, Solid Rock Church, Loudon County Association, FBC Montgomery, & FBC Jenny Lind.

Rosamond
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church brought all their energy to Bible Club this week! The team came prepared with equal parts structure and fun. It was awesome to reconnect with some of our kids from previous years, and it was great to meet new kids for the first time! This week we had a high of 68 kids on Tuesday! All the kids really enjoyed learning a new chant during station rotations and painting rocks to brighten the garden at Brinkley Heights! St. Paul’s put a lot of enthusiasm into planning every station, from using instruments in songs to parachute games. The kids were constantly engaged in Bible story and were always excited to show off their crafts. On Friday, the kids made encouraging bookmarks to hand out to their friends and family who may not know about Jesus. What an awesome way for the kids to put the lessons they’re learning at Bible club into action! Thank you, St. Paul’s for helping us train up little missionaries in Memphis!
- Brianna & Nicole

National
Week 1 at National is in the books! Shady Grove Baptist joined us for the first week of Bible club. Lots of fun was had at crafts as the kids made flower pots and candy boxes. The kids also had lots of fun this week at playing soccer at games; and if you know National kids, you know they love soccer! The kids really enjoyed getting to know the team, and some cool relationships were made. This week, the team and I were sweetly reminded that God CHOSE us for this. God didn't have to utilize us in His mission. He could easily share the Gospel all by himself (because he's God and he's all-powerful). He could literally write love in the sky for everyone to see. Instead, God allows us to share in and be a part of His work. He chooses to use us to share His love with some little kids in Memphis. How awesome is that? Thank you, Shady Grove Baptist for a week to remember! I cannot wait to see what God does at National the rest of this summer. I know He will do big things!
- Morgan & Allie

Guernsey
We kicked off the first week of Bible club on G-Street with FBC Canton! The team kept up amazing energy throughout the week, and they brought a high of 56 kids to Bible club on Friday! The team enjoyed teaching the kids to share with a fun craft on Thursday. They gave each of the kids a brown paper bag with candy in it to give to someone else when they returned home, as well as some for them to keep for themselves. Tatianna loved the craft and the meaning so much that she ended up giving her bag to one team member who she had been hanging out with all week. At Bible story, the team wore costumes in their demonstration of the kindness of the good Samaritan. Throughout the week, the team kept every single kid engaged at songs by bringing buckets to drum on and a speaker to dance to. The kids responded well to the tough questions the teams asked in Bible story and were able to build awesome relationships with the kids. We could not have asked for a better week to start us off! We look forward to hanging out at Guernsey this summer.

Johnson
Week One at Johnson was rockin’! We had Solid Rock Church in from Columbus, Georgia. They were a great team to start off the summer! The team did a great job of stepping up to the challenge of getting the word out about Bible club starting and loving on the kids at Johnson. Every day we had more kids come out to hear about Jesus than the day before! Solid Rock Church got to have loads of important conversations, and they really got to know the kids. One of the sweetest moments was when one of the kids at club was coloring and he asked, “who is God?” The team members were able to share all about the God loves him and how He sent Jesus to die for us so that we may live. That was just one of the many cool opportunities God provided for us to be a part of planting seed this week!  I can’t wait to see what opportunities God will continue to lay before us this summer. I know God has big things planned for Johnson, so please keep praying for the kids and the teams coming to pick up where Solid Rock left off.
- Marcus & Kenni

Jackson
This first week at Bible club Jackson was a blast! Loudon County Association came in ready to love and serve, and they knocked it out of the park! This week at Bible club, the kids were able to hear about special attributes of God, like how God is love and God is kind. On Friday the kids made two goody bags full of candy in crafts - one to keep and one to give away to show kindness to others. What a tangible way for the kids to apply the truths that they had been learning about! Many kids chose to give their bags out to the team members whom they had made friends with this week; it was an awesome display of kindness. The team did an awesome job canvassing for kids, and we were able to reach a weekly high of 60! It was so good to see familiar faces and some brand-new faces at Bible club this week. Jackson is off to a great start, and we can’t wait to see how the Lord works and moves in the lives of these kids this summer!
“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
Romans 10:13-15

QueQue
The first week at Que Que was quite the partay; as if the party ever stopped!

Our kiddos were THRILLED to see some of their favorite bible clubbers back in town. FBC Montgomery came in with the perfect amount of energy, love, and excitement needed for week one. With a mix of epic dance parties to intense soccer games, the kids’ laughter echoed through the park. In Bible story this week one of the most intriguing topics talked about was God’s provision. The memory verse for that day was Philippians 4:19, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” I just had to go over and listen when I heard that God’s provision was the topic of Bible story. As the team asked the children questions about what it meant for God to provide I could tell that the kids were beginning to understand. For the rest of bible club that day we had the kids look for different ways that God provided. It’s always such a joy to see kids so engaged with Bible story. Altogether, it was a phenomenal week at Que Que. We are SO incredibly thankful to FBC Montgomery for coming out and loving the community so well!
- Anna

Whittier
Our first week of Bible club at Whit Vegas was nothing short of a party! The kids in the community were so ready and excited for us to start Bible club for the summer. Some of our highlights for the kids this week included making slime, creating crowns, and playing sharks & minnows. Even though it was the first week of the summer, we got up to 40 kids in one day at Bible club this week! Throughout the course of this week, FBC Jenny Lind shared the gospel and the love of Christ in every interaction and conversation with the kids. They got to hear about creation and how they can be children of the King. We are so thankful to FBC Jenny Lind for truly loving these kids & doing everything they could to share the love of Christ with as many kids a possible. Your willingness to come the first week of summer allowed us to see kids we may not see the rest of the summer and allowed us to start the summer off strong. We can’t thank you all enough for your love and dedication this week! We are so confident that your hard work and love have planted seeds. We cannot wait to see God grow them!
1 Corinthians 3:6 “I planted the seed, Apollo’s watered it, but God has been making it grow.”

Pope
P-O-P-E, that is where we want to be! It was great to have FBC Canton in town hanging out with us this week. The kids showed up this week with a high of 57 kids on Tuesday! At songs station, kids were drumming loud enough to be heard all over site. During Bible story, everyone learned what kindness means and how to be kind. The kids “flew” around club with the kindness capes they made in crafts, which was super fun! The cross necklaces made at crafts were also a big hit, along with a cool game of toss and catch. They also learned some cool new games, like “Steal the Bacon,” which was awesome. It was a great time for the staff, too because we got to hang out with so many kids that have become so dear to us. Thank you so much FBC Canton for coming out and having a blast with us as Bible club Pope this week. We are excited to see what God does over the course of the summer.
