Rosamond
Aldan Union Church spent this week with us at Rosamond! The team's sweet spirit was obvious, and the kids had a wonderful time getting to know them. Aldan Union spent the week teaching the Rosamond kids all about Joseph, his dreams, and his coat of many colors. The teeny-tinies were fascinated by the colorful picture books the team used to convey the Bible stories to them. My personal favorite craft that the kids made this week was a "stained glass" coat of many colors. All the kids were stoked to take their masterpieces home and hang them up in their bedroom windows. Everyone had fun in games, from kickball and hula-hoop basketball to four-square in the dirt. Additionally, songs station was always full of interesting surprises, including a chance to play the ukulele. The kids had fun this week, and so did I! Thanks, Aldan Union Church, for your willingness to travel to Memphis and love on our sweet and sassy kids!

Guernsey
Week 7 was so much fun out at Guernsey Bible Club thanks to Mountain Creek Baptist Church! This was the team’s first trip to Street Reach, and it was so awesome hearing about how much the team enjoyed their trip. It was also really cool to see how much they loved on our Bible Club kids. In Bible Story, Mountain Creek taught our kids about Joseph, his brothers, and his coat of many colors. The middle-aged kids loved getting to help the team act out trust by catching one of the leaders in a trust fall. Our kids loved songs station where they learned a new song with motions and sang tons of Bible Club songs. In games, all of our kids played kickball and had so much fun doing so. It was neat to see our kids cheering one another on and giving high fives to each other when they ran to home base. We loved getting a few minutes to play kickball with our older boys and girls! In crafts, the team helped the kids make a game out of a cup and a string with a bead that represented that God forgives us an infinite amount of times. Here is a huge shout out to Mountain Creek for loving our kids so well this week! Please keep Guernsey Bible Club in your prayers as next week is our last week with our kiddos for the summer!

National
Somehow we have already been through 7 weeks of Bible club. The last 7 weeks have been full of fun games, cool crafts, crazy songs, and lots of Jesus. Townville Baptist Church came to join us for the last week of Bible club at National this summer. The kids had lots of fun as they made some really cool crafts and played ultimate soccer and fun relays at games. Every day we prayed that the Lord would send us as many kids as possible to share his love with during this last week of Bible club, and every day we had old kids, new kids, and kids we hadn't seen since the beginning of the summer! On Friday we had a high of 64 kids! It was an awesome reminder that God is so faithful and really listens to our prayers. The best part of this week is that we had two kids accept Christ into their hearts! I can't wait to see what God continues to do in their lives. I'm not sure how summer is already coming to a close. Some days of Bible club were harder, hotter and crazier than others, but every single day I saw God alive and present and working in the hearts of the kids at National Bible club. I know that even though Bible club is over for the summer God will still be with each of the kids and will use them to be disciples in their homes and on their streets. We feel honored that God would allow us to be a small part of the work He is doing here. All glory to Him. It's been real, National Bible club.

Jackson
Let’s go Jackson! This week The Gathering Place church came to serve at Jackson, and what a week of love and compassion, high energy, and tons of fun we had! This week in crafts the kids decorated binoculars, made their own prayer journals, and decorated picture frames to put Polaroid snapshots in. It was so fun to see them react to having their picture taken with a polaroid and watching the picture of them appear out of nowhere! Songs station was a party all this week filled with freeze dance and loud singing, and it was so fun to hear the older girls chant “Who runs the world? Girls!” as soon as they ran over to songs. Games station played some seriously cool games this week, like an inchworm relay and the floor is lava. Kids were having so much fun, and we were having fun watching them act so silly! Bible story knocked it out of the park this week; the kids learned all about the story of Joseph and learned how it related to their own lives. From learning how to run from temptation (literally by running in circles from “temptation”) to learning that in each and every situation we can forgive others, the kids learned some great truths. On Friday, 57 precious kiddos came out to Bible club to end the summer with us, and we had a blast! God has been incredibly faithful this summer to pour out His love on our Bible club kids. Please pray that the seeds planted this summer would grow and be fruitful. God is so kind to let us be a part of all of this!

Johnson
We had an awesome week at Johnson thanks to The Gathering Place Church! The kids had a blast learning about Joseph, his life, relationships, sufferings, and temptations. Each day, the kids learned a different main point from the Bible story which allowed them to remember the lessons easier. There were some awesome crafts throughout the week such as prayer journals, working binoculars, and heart frames for polaroids of each kid. TGP played games like three-legged & hula-hoop races, and jumping over a jump rope ‘river’. The kids were so engaged and loved every second it. We had a summer high of 51 kids come out to hear the gospel and be loved on! In addition to that, we had a salvation! We are happy to announce that Mariah accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior this week! Thank you for the prayers over Johnson Bible Club, and we can’t wait to see what next week has in store!

Whittier
We cannot believe week 7 has already passed at Whittier! Calvary Baptist rocked this week. At club this week the kids were told the story of Joseph and the different aspects of how God worked through him. Crafts tied back into the Bible story each day, and the kids absolutely loved making forgiveness bookmarks & salvation caterpillars. Games station deserves a special shoutout for introducing the kids to Ships and Sailors as well as water sponge races, which the kids LOVED. In songs, they danced to Rolex and the classic summer favorites Pizza Man, Little Red Wagon, and Oh A Milkshake. Having a high of 55 kids on Wednesday, each and every child was shown the love of Christ through the team this week. Thank you to Calvary Baptist for pouring into our kids and community. We are so thankful for another full week of sweet smiles & seeing our precious Bible Club kids learning more about the gospel. We are pumped to see what week 8 holds for Whitvegas!

Que Que
As I reflect on this summer and everything it brought, I am thankful. Thankful for teams thankful for community members, thankful for the ministry, and thankful for God’s faithfulness to provide. This past week was the last week of summer for the Que Que partay. To close out the summer, we had the privilege of serving with Third Street Baptist Church. They made some lasting memories with the kiddos this week. They’re kindness and enthusiasm to meet the kids exactly where they were was encouraging. We had a whole station strictly for our 4 and under group where the team would come over and take turns hanging out with them. They played playdough, blocks and colored everything (including the tarp.) Our older kid group enjoyed some pretty competitive kickball and sang praises at the end of each Bible story. On Friday afternoon while walking home we sang “this little light of mine” one more time and as we sang the last chorus little Paityn asked, “what is the little light?” Thrilled to learn it is Jesus, she sang louder! As we approached her doorstep she met her mother explaining to her what the little light was. Paityn has always been a little bundle of energy, but this time I believe she’s going to be a little light to her Pre-K class. Third Street Baptist church brought the love this week. It was a great last week. For everyone who came and ministered to the Que Que kids, thank you!

Pope
Wow, what a summer! Big thanks to Waycross FUMC for closing out Bible Club Pope this summer! It was an awesome week. The kids had fun and learned a lot going through the stories of Joseph. They got to make awesome crafts like door hangers, necklaces, bracelets, crosses, and picture frames, too! All of the Pope kids were super excited to show off their amazing crafts. The team led the kids in super fun games like Sharks and Minos, Wax Museum, and more. They also got to sing some fun Bible Club songs like Hey Bo Diddley Bop, Bazooka Bubble Gum, and they got to dance to some crazy-fun songs too. We had a great summer at Pope as we were blessed with the opportunity to minister to over 100 kids. Thanks to all who came and loved on our community!

Treadwell
Treadwell was an absolute party this week thanks to The Brook church, and the kids loved it! The team brought tents for the children to sit under, huge speakers to blast music from, bubble machines, an abundance of toys, fantastic crafts, and a love for Bible Club. Club looked fun before it even started, and that in combination with the attention poured into the children kept them coming back for more. During an in-depth conversation about God with the older kids, Tank revealed that he believed in the Greek gods as well as Jesus. We spoke to him about how God is the only true God and even says so himself in the scripture using verse John 14:6, and how the Greek gods are lowercase gods and mythology. He then said that he needed to speak with his teacher who taught him about the Greek gods so he could tell her the truth. Additionally, Andricko was responsive to the team talking to him about the gospel on his walk to club and had a two-on-one conversation about what it means to follow Jesus. Many seeds were planted this week at Treadwell and we cannot wait until Spring to plant and grow some more. Please stay in prayer for these kids and their families, and that we will next see them in the Spring season. Please pray that teams will come ready to be the hands and feet of God in this community as they follow Jesus. {Luke 4:16 – 21}
